For the first time, China’s gaming-centric smartphone manufacturer brand ZTE unveiled its first non-gaming smartphone- the Nubia Z50 ultra. Nubia Z50 Ultra features a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP Sony IMX787 primary sensor with a 35mm focal length joined by a 64MP periscope shooter with an 85mm focal length and 50MP ultrawide angle lens with autofocus support. There’s a 16MP front-facing under-display camera
The Nubia Z50 Ultra smartphone sports a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone has an almost bezel-less display that measures 1.48mm on the sides. Like the OnePlus alert slider, the nubia Z50 ultra comes physical alert slider button that can be customizable to take photos, turn on gaming mode, or mute notifications.
The smartphone is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage, under the hood. The device runs on Andriod 13 based on MY OS 13 out of the box. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
The Nubia Z50 Ultra starts at CNY 3,999 ($580) and comes in two color options- Black and Gray. The smartphone will go for sale from 14th March in China.
