Redmi K50i Quick Review


-The Redmi K50i sports a 6.6" FHD+ LCD Display with a 144 Hz refresh rate.  -The display of the smartphone is good but it feels dim when you are out in the sun.  Although it is a good LCD display, it can't match the level of an AMOLED display.


Redmi K50i  features a triple rear camera setup, which is comprised of a 64MP main camera coupled with an 8MP Ultra wide and 2MP macro lens. The main camera captures great shots with good colors. The 8MP ultrawide captures good shots with dynamic range. Overall the smartphone camera is quite better compared to other phones like Redmi Note 11 series.

Redmi K50i has a 16MP front camera. The smartphone captures good and bright selfies with more accurate details. 


Redmi K50i is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC based on a 5nm process. The Redmi K50i has an AnTuTu Score of 8.22 Lakh, and that score is very impressive. The smartphone performs very well (without any lag) while playing BGMI at the max setting on it. The smartphone heats slightly while gaming but all thanks to the vapor cooling chamber system that keeps the smartphone cool.

Talking about the software, the smartphone runs on Android 12 based on MIUI 13 out of the box. We know it's Xiaomi, so you cant expect clean UI in the smartphone, it comes with some third-party apps. Xiaomi has Promised to provide three years of security patches & 2 years of Android updates for the Redmi K50i.


Redmi K50i houses a 5,080mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The smartphone's battery is really good it can easily last one day in normal use. The smartphone charges 0 to 100 percent in just 51 min.

The Redmi K50i comes in Polycarbonate frame and offers a three color options Quick Silver, Stealth Black and Phantom Blue. Talking about its front side, the smartphone has a center mounted punch hole cut out, flat screen and sports thick chin. The Redmi K50i weighs 200grams and is 8.8mm thick.

Looking towards its price and specifications the smartphone is great choice for performance user. It would have been better if Redmi had provided a 120Hz AMOLED display instead of 144Hz LCD display. Overall, at the starting price of ₹25,999, the Redmi K50i offers a excellent features and great performance..
