Microsoft officially unveiled its most stylish Surface laptop Go 2. The laptop is essentially an upgrade to the original 2020 model. Microsoft has obviously done the entire upgrades in that Surface Laptop G0 2 laptop.
Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 comes with the new 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor integrated with Iris Xe graphics, its predecessor version was equipped with the 10th Gen Intel core i5 processor. The company’s brand new laptop comes with the main upgrades in terms of processor.
Microsoft offers the same 12.4-inch pixel-sense touch display with 1,536 X 1,024 pixel resolution with 10-point multitouch, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and 330 nits of peak brightness.
Under the hood, the Surface laptop Go 2 is powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor integrated with Iris Xe graphics. There are no upgrades in the storage department, the laptop comes with 128GB of internal storage but Microsoft offers 8GB LPDDR4X RAM in the new version and the base version still comes with a 4GB of RAM option. The machine runs on Windows 11 based on a single language out of the box.
In terms of battery, Microsoft claims that the device offers up to 13.5 hours of battery life which is quite good. The laptop has 39W fast charging support and charges the laptop almost 80 percent in just an hour. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, USB type ‘C’ port, USB Type ‘A’ port, surface connect port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Coming to the optics, the device offers a 720p HD camera improved over its predecessor and it offers Dual studio mics for great sound quality during video chats. When it comes to the keyboard experience, the surface Laptop Go 2 offers chicklet keys and 30 percent more key travel than a MacBook Air. The device comes with a large precision trackpad, Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.

Talking of the pricing of the Surface laptop Go 2, it comes in two variant options. The base 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage version is priced at $599 (roughly ₹ 46,947) while the top of the line 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration costs $ 979 (roughly ₹ 75,999). The laptop comes in a Platinum color option.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 is already available for pre-order and it will go on sale from June 7.
