Lenovo-owned smartphone brand Motorola has launched the Motorola Edge 40 series in the global markets and now the brand has officially unveiled the new member- the Moto Edge 40 Neo smartphone in the Indian markets. Motorola Edge 40 series is comprised of Moto Edge 40 and Edge 40 Pro both smartphones are available globally. The Moto Edge 40 series will come as a successor to the Moto Edge 30 launched last year in India.
The Moto Edge 40 Neo is priced at ₹23,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Open sales will commence on September 28 via Flipkart and other retailers.
Motorola flaunts key features of the smartphone although the smartphone will follow the same specifications as the global variants. Speaking about the specifications, the Moto Edge 40 Neo has a 6.55-inch FHD+ pOLED panel with a maximum 144Hz refresh rate, up to 1200 nits of peak brightness, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ support.
Under the hood, Moto Edge 40 Neo is the world’s first smartphone to come with MediaTek Dimensity 7030 processor paired with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. It packs up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 internal storage. The device runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.
The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast wired charging support. The Edge 40 Neo features a dual camera setup- a 50MP primary camera with OIS support paired with a 13MP ultrawide + macro shooter. It has a 32MP front camera for video chats and selfies.
