Nothing has officially unveiled the Nothing Ear 2 true wireless earbuds in India. The company’s latest flagship earbuds come with notable improvements. Ear 2 is the successor to Nothing Ear 1 was launched in 2021. Speaking about its design the Earbuds and charging case has an almost very similar design to its predecessor, a transparent case with white, Red, and Black colors shades.
The brand just added a couple of new features to the earbuds and it doesn’t look like a huge upgrade over the predecessor. Anyway, let’s take a look at its specifications, pricing, and availability.
The Nothing Ear 2 is priced at ₹9,999 /$149 which is ₹4,000 /$50 more than its predecessor (which costs ₹5,999). The Ear 2 is now available for purchase via Myntra, Flipkart, and other offline retailers.
Let’s start with the design, the Nothing Ear 2 comes with its signature transparent design with White and Black color strips. Nothing introduced a new dual chamber design for the Ear 2 which enhances overall audio quality with smooth airflow. The Ear 2 is equipped with a custom 11.6mm sound driver for crystal clear highs and powerful and deep bass.
Another notable improvement is the Ear 2 comes with Hi-Res audio certification and LHDC 5.0 codec technology offers a more detailed sound. The earbuds have a multipoint or dual-point connectivity feature, which lets you connect the two devices simultaneously.
Nothing packs its most advanced ANC and clear voice technology in the Ear 2 to achieve exceptional sound quality during calls. The earbuds have personalized active noise cancellation support with noise reduction of up to 40dB which offers optimal sound in a noisy environment. The adaptive mode automatically adjusts the noise reduction level based on the surrounding sound.
The Ear 2 case houses a 485mAH battery which offers up to 36 hours of playback time without ANC. And each earbud is backed by a 33mAh battery. The earbuds have fast charging and wireless (up to 2.5W) and reverse wireless charging support. Nothing claims that the Ear 2 earbuds offer up to 8 hours of listening time with just 10 minutes of charge.
Other features of the Nothing Ear 2 wireless earbuds include Google Fast pair for Android devices, Microsoft Swift Pair for windows devices, and low lag mode for a seamless gaming experience. Nothing offers an IP55 water and dust resistance rating for the case and the earbuds are IP54 rated.
Thanks to the Noting X App with the help of that app you can customize the sound, and equalizer levels, create a personal sound profile, and more. The earbuds come with press controls to switch between modes, change media, volume adjustments, and much more.
