Chinese gaming smartphone manufacturer brand RedMagic introduced its latest RedMagic 8 Pro smartphone in the global market. The smartphone was already launched in China last year.
RedMagic 8 Pro sports a 6.8-inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120hz refresh rate, 1300 nits of peak brightness, and a 960Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS4.0 storage.
RedMagic 8 Pro houses a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The smartphone runs on Android 13 based on Redmagic OS 6.0.
In terms of optics, the smartphone features a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary camera joined by an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 16MP in-display selfie camera for capturing stunning selfies and video chats.
RedMagic 8 Pro comes in two variant options 12/256GB Matte and 16/512GB Void. There is no Pro+ variant this time, the Void variant has a transparent back like the Pro+ variant and the Matte has a black texture at the rear. RedMagic 8 Pro (12/256Gb) Matte variant is priced at $650 while the Void (16/512GB) variant costs $800. RedMagic 8 Pro will be available for purchase from 2nd February via RedMagic’s official website.
