Lots of rumors and leaks about the Xiaomi Pad 6 are buzzing around the market but now finally we have an official statement from the brand itself. President of Xiaomi Lu Weibeing, in conversation with Weibo users, revealed that the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 will debut soon though the exact launch timeframe hasn’t been revealed yet. Also, the brand is gearing up for the launch of its Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone and we can expect both the device will be unveiled at the same launch event.
Ahead of the launch, the Xiaomi Pad 6 key specifications surfaced online. The upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 series will come in two variants- the regular variant and the Pro variant. Both variants will feature a 2.8K (2880 x 1800 resolution) LCD display with 120Hz/144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. It will come with a dual rear camera setup just like its predecessor and will house a massive 10,000mAH battery with support for 67W fast charging tech. According to the reports, the Pad 6 will use the same camera module style as the Xiaomi 13 Pro.
Under the hood, the regular version will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor while the Pro variant will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor based on TSMC’s 4nm process. Other features include support for a physical fingerprint sensor, stylus, and keyboard.
