The Company launched the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra smartphone, which is a successor to the Axon 30 Ultra. The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is the company’s first smartphone that features an under-display selfie camera.

ZTE Axon 40 Ultra Price & Availability
The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra will be available for purchase from May 13 in China with prices ranging from RMB 4,998 to RMB 7,298 (roughly ₹ 57,456 to ₹ 83896). The smartphone comes in Black and Silver color options. The ZTE company will launch Axon 40 Ultra smartphone in the first week of June for the Global Market and available for pre-order from June 8.

The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra sports a 6.8-inches curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2480 x 1116 pixel resolutions, and 93.1 percent screen-to-body resolution. The smartphone comes with an under-display camera design rather than old options like a punch-hole display or waterdrop notch.
Moving to the lenses, the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra features a triple rear camera setup, comprising of a 64MP Sony IMX787 primary camera with OIS support, f/1.6 aperture paired with a 64MP Sony IMX787 Ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.35 aperture, and 64MP telephoto lens with OIS support, f/3.5 aperture. The smartphone features a 16MP under-display selfie camera for capturing stunning selfies and video chats.

Under the hood, the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor based on 4nm architecture coupled with an Adreno GPU. It packs up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The smartphone runs on MyOS 12.0 based on Android 12 out of the box.
The new Axon 40 Ultra houses a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The smartphone also supports a bunch of connectivity options including 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi-6, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, NFC, and USB type’C’ for charging and data transfer. The smartphone weighs just 204 grams.
