POCO has launched its new budget range smartphone in the Indian market called POCO M5 4G. Poco’s latest budget range offering comes with the latest trendy features and the M5 4G is the successor to the POCO M4 smartphone which was launched last year.
POCO brings a new design to the Poco M5 4G smartphone. The smartphone comes with a unique premium faux leather back design. Poco introduced two new smartphones under the M5 series- Poco M5 4G and the M5s. The M5 smartphone is slightly larger than M5s, mainly due to its larger display.

Let’s start with the display, the Poco M5 4G features a 6.58-inches FHD+ IPS LCD display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate, 240HZ touch sampling date, and 20:9 aspect ratio. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top.
In terms of optics, Poco M5 4G features a triple rear camera setup which is backed by a 50MP primary camera coupled with a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth lens. It has an 8MP selfie snapper for capturing stunning selfies and video chats.
Under the hood, Poco M5 4G smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor paired with Mali G57 GPU, up to 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 12 based on MIUI 13 out of the box.
It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth v5.3, 4G LTE, GPS, NFC, IR Blaster, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type ‘C’ port for charging and data transfer. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Turbo RAM.
Pricing & Availability
The Poco M5 4G smartphone pricing starts from ₹12,499 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants retails at ₹14,499. The smartphone comes in three color options- Power Black, Poco Yellow, and Icy Blue.
The sale for the Poco M5 4G smartphone will start on the 13th of September via Flipkart.
