Redmi has officially unveiled the Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ latest entry-level smartphones in the Indian market. Both smartphones have almost similar specifications with some minor differences. Have a look at the specifications of the Redmi A2 series smartphones.
Redmi A2 comes in three variant options- the base 2GB + 32GB storage variant retails at ₹5,999, the 2GB + 64GB storage variant costs ₹6,499 and the 4GB + 64GB storage variant starts at ₹7,499. While the Redmi A2+ is available in a sole variant option which is priced at ₹8,499. Redmi A2 series will go on sale starting from May 23 via mi.com and Amazon and offline retailers.
Redmi A2 and A2+ both have the almost same specifications with just only 2 differences between them. One of the key differences is the A2+ model comes with a fingerprint sensor and another key difference is RAM variant options- the A2 offered in three variant options while the A2+ comes in a sole 4GB/64GB storage variant option.
Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ sports a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Both smartphones feature a dual rear camera setup at the back with an 8MP primary camera joined with a QVGA lens. You’ll get a 5MP selfie camera for selfies and video chats.

Powering the Redmi A2 series with MediaTek’s Helio G36 chipset paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Both smartphones boots Android 13 Go Edition out of the box. Redmi A2 series has a big 5,000mAH battery with 10W charging support.
