A few weeks ago Google launched its Google Pixel 6a smartphone in India. At the Google IO 2022 event, the company officially confirmed that Google will be launching its Pixel 7 series smartphone in the fall. The company has already teased the back design of the smartphone. The Pixel 7 pro smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup on the back which is mounted on a glossy aluminum strip.
The latest news about the Pixel 7 series is that a popular YouTuber Unbox Therapy unboxed prototypes of new upcoming Google Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 7. The video also gives a glimpse of the Pixel 7 series and suggests the key specifications of both smartphones.
In that video, a brief comparison is shown between the upcoming Pixel 7 series (7 pro and 7) and its previous generations Pixel 6 Series (6 Pro and 6).
What’s new in the Pixel 7 series
Google Pixel 7 series smartphones will come with a glossy glass back design. The comparison shown in the video shows that the new Pixel 7 smartphone carries a more or less similar design to the Pixel 6 pro and on the other side the Pixel 7 smartphone is slightly smaller than the Pixel 6.
The Pixel 7 Pro (209 gram) has slighlty more weight as compared to Pixel 6 pro (208 gram) while the Pixel 7 weighs just 195 grams and it is much lighter than the Pixel 6 weighs 206 grams.
The new Google Pixel 7 series smartphones will be powered by next Gen Tensor 2 processor. In terms of its design, the Pixel 7 series are seam to be narrower than its predecessor.
Google Pixel 7 pro are likely to comes with a center cutout punch hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the Pixel 7 is expected to feature 90Hz refresh rate. The 7 Pro model looks very slim compared to Pixel 6 Pro and has a curved display.
Talking about camera department, the Pixel 7 series is expected to feature a 50MP main camera with Samsung GN1 sensor and it might feature 11MP selfie camera. We can expect the Pixel 7 series ships with more improved and bigger battery.
