Lava’s upcoming smartphone Lava Agni 2 5G renders and specifications leaked ahead of the launch later this month. Reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav reveals the key specifications, hands-on images, and price of the Lava Agni 2 5G smartphone. Lava confirms via its official Twitter account, the Agni 2 5G smartphone is launching on May 16 in the Indian market and it will go on sale through Amazon in India. According to the tipster, the Lava Agni 2 5G smartphone will be priced at ₹20,000. Furthermore, Lava Agni 2 5G smartphone will boast an AMOLED display and features an In-display fingerprint sensor. Regarding design, the Agni 2 5G will have a circular-shaped camera module with a 50MP primary camera sensor. It will pack up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will be powered by MediaTek Dimesnity 7050 chipset.
MediaTek recently announced the new Dimensity 7050 chipset, a rebranded version of the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 launched last year. The Dimensity 7050 is built on 6nm architecture same as the Dimensity 1080 and paired with the 2 x ARM Cortex-A78 performance cores clocked at 2.6GHz, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and ARM Mali-G68 MC4 GPU.
Furthermore, MediaTek’s Dimensity 7050 chipset supports up to 200MP camera sensors and records video up to 4K at 30FPS. In terms of connectivity, the chipset offers Dual 5G, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth V5.2 connectivity options. It supports up to 120Hz 2520 x 1080px resolution displays.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset will first debut on the Lava Agni 2 5G smartphone in India. Rumors suggest the Lava Agni 2 5G will retail at ₹19,999.
