Redmi has officially unveiled the Redmi Note 12 series launching in India. Redmi Note 12 5G series comprises Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro Plus. The Redmi Note 12 series already made its debut in the Chinese market. sadly, Redmi hasn’t introduced its Redmi Note 12 Discovery edition with 210W fast charging smartphone outside of China.
Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G comes in two variant options- the 8/256GB costs ₹29,999 while the 12/256GB variant is priced at ₹32,999. The Phone comes in Black, White, and Blue color options. It will go for sale starting from January 11 via Flipkart, and Xiaomi’s official website.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G flaunts a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED 120Hz panel. In terms of optics, the smartphone features a triple rear camera setup with a 200MP main camera joined by an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro sensor.
under the hood, the smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 1080 processor paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The handset runs on Andriod 12 based on MIUI 13. Redmi Note 12 Pro+ houses a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. Redmi Promises to provide 2 years of OS and 4 years of security patch updates for the Redmi Note 12 series.
In terms of Specifications, the Redmi Note 12 follows similar specifications as the Chinese variant. Redmi Note 12 5G sports a 6.67-inch OLED 120Hz display with 1,200 nits of peak brightness, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 100 percent color gamut.
For photography, Redmi Note 12 features a triple camera rear setup with a 48MP primary camera joined by an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. It has a 13MP selfie camera. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor based on a 6nm process paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
Redmi Note 12 5G starts at ₹15,499 for the 4/128GB base variant while the 6/128GB retails at ₹17,499 with applicable offers and it will be available on January 11 via Flipkart, and Xiaomi’s official website.
