South Korean brand Samsung finally unveiled its most awaited premium foldable smartphones- the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 along with the new Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and Galaxy Watch 5 series in India.
Samsung first introduces its foldable smartphones back in 2019 and this is the fourth iteration which comes with a more improved camera, big battery, an upgraded processor, and design. According to market research estimates, the Galaxy Z Foldable has proven to be the most popular foldable device yet.
Samsung’s new generation Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 foldable smartphones come with some small and meaningful upgrades, like new software, improved cameras with better low-light photography, foldable design, and a bigger battery. Also, Samsung introduces new colors in the devices which looks quite attractive.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 with Refined design
Samsung says its fourth generation of foldable smartphones comes with better ergonomics, improved cameras, and more productivity features.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 sports a 7.6″ main screen and 6.2″ cover screen 2K Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 6:5 aspect ratio, and 1000 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone has a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top.
In terms of lenses, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 features a triple rear camera setup on the back which is comprised of a 50MP primary camera with a large sensor paired with a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 10MP telephoto lens with 30x digital zoom and 3x optical magnification zoom. It has a 10MP under-display exterior selfie camera and a 4MP front camera that can be used when the phone is opened.
Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor based on 4nm architecture coupled with Adreno GPU, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 1TB UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs on Android 12 based on One UI 4.1.1 out of the box.
The handset houses a 4,400mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It is actually faster than last year’s model- the smartphone charges 0 to 30 percent in just 30 minutes. Also, It has 15W wireless charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi -6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB type ‘C’ for data transfers and charging.
The rest of the highlights of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 include a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor, S pen support, Flex Mode, and IPX8 water resistance rating. It weighs 263 grams and is 15.8mm thick at the hinge and 14.2mm where the sides meet.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 sports a 6.7-inches FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and it’s claimed 45 percent stronger this time thanks to ultra-thin glass and changes in display structure. Galaxy Z Flip 4’s cover screen is also getting new additions. There is a 1.9-inches secondary Super AMOLED display to send quick replies to text messages and take portrait mode shots from the outer display.
Galaxy Z Flip 4 features a dual rear camera setup on the rear side which is assembled with a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera with a 123° field of view coupled with a 12MP wide-angle camera with 83° field of view with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. The handset sports a 10MP front camera for capturing selfies and video chats.
Under the hood, Galaxy Z Flip 4 is loaded with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor based on a 4nm process paired with an Adreno GPU. It packs 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device runs on Andriod 12L based on the One UI 4.1.1 out of the box.
