Xiaomi’s subbrand Redmi recently unveiled its Note 12 series smartphone last week in China. Redmi Note 12 5G series comprises Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro Plus, and Note 12 Explorer edition. Leaks suggest Redmi Note 12 series comes in India under the Xiaomi and POCO rebranding.
The device Redmi Note 12 5G was recently spotted on BIS, coming to India under the POCO branding– May be POCO F5. According to rumors, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G may come as the Xiaomi 12i HyperCharge in India. The listings hint that the smartphone may launch in India by the end of this month.
In terms of Specifications, the Redmi Note 12 follows similar specifications as the Chinese variant. Redmi Note 12 5G sports a 6.67-inch OLED 120Hz display with 1,200 nits of peak brightness, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 100 percent color gamut.
For photography, Redmi Note 12 features a dual camera rear setup with a 48MP primary camera joined by a 2MP depth sensor. It has an 8MP selfie camera. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor based on a 6nm process paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
